This book was adorable. Clementine is a girl who gets in trouble because she gets a little distracted but she proves herself to be a good friend.

Super cute, fast read. Probs won't do an in depth review of this but really liked the humor in this one. Clementine was a delight to read from her POV.

Clementine: she's silly, she's earnest, she's absolutely adorable. Love her to death.

Hilarious! Definitely reminiscent of Ramona Quimby, but I still loved it.

This was one of my childhood favorites. Clementine is Junie B. Jones meets Anne of Green Gables: full of the best intentions, but not always the best execution, and not always the most well-mannered.

This book is cute and great for a third/fourth grade audience. I really love the family dynamic, especially the relationship Clementine has with her father. I don't love the friendship in this book, mostly because Margaret treats Clementine as inferior, and Clementine notices but never really stands up for herself or seeks out other friends. Maybe this is something later books in the series will explore.

I don't know if I will continue to read from this series, but since this one took me maybe an hour to read, I would consider it, just to see the other antics Clementine gets up to.

Clementine is a spunky girl with creative solutions to solving problems- real and imagined. I laughed out loud a few times while reading. Frazee's illustrations are charming as ever.

I read this with my almost-8-going-into-3rd-grade daughter. It came from her school required summer reading list and it wasn't so much chosen as it was picked because it was the only book on the list that we could find at the bookstore at the time. It is actually a 4th grade level book and she struggled with it which is why I ended up reading it with her. My rating is two stars, she would give it three.

I found Clementine to be rather annoying, she never pays attention and doesn't stop and listen and do, perhaps this hit a little too close to home for me. ;) My daughter thought Clementine was fun and creative, which my daughter is so I can understand her enjoying reading about a kindred spirit. The story is cute enough - adventures of a creative, loving child; the ups and downs of friendship; the love of family - all good things for kids to read about, just not my cup of tea, and I have read children's books before that I've thoroughly enjoyed.

What a nice story with great illustrations. I read along with the audiobook and that was good too. Clementine gets into a bunch of antics and I suspect she has ADHD. She gets called into the principal's office a lot, can't sit still, has wild creative ideas, and is a bit messy. Near the end you can tell that beyond her easygoing self is a kid that finds it tough knowing that all these characteristics are 'bad'. Between sobs she says "I won't be like this anymore!.. I won't talk so much and I'll clean up my room...I will never loose my homework...and I will sit so still..." And it's actually heartbreaking. But I think it's nice if a kid reads this, relates to her, and sees the positive sides to her too.
