I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review. And I can honestly say that this is one of the best books I have ever read.

If you love slow burn romance, forbidden romance, the ‘only one bed’ trope, then this book is for you.

I literally could not put this book down, and I desperately wish that the rest of this series was already out because I need to read it all STAT.

If you haven’t read the first book in this series, Daughter of the Drowned Empire, you should really do that before this book is officially released later this month. This is a series that you don’t want to miss out on.

I can’t believe this book series isn’t talked about more. You would think the forbidden lovers, tortured MC, protective bodyguard, and training montage into badass FMC would be right up all of booktok and beyond’s alley.
