Ah, this was so sad! There are flashes of joy, but overall I feel gloomy and pent up after finishing this.
I wasn't sure what I was expecting - knowing it was set with the backdrop of the dancing plague intrigued me, but the story was a lot more dispairing than I expected.

I really loved this one. It was a little slow at first and didn’t go the direction I expected, but I loved the dancing plague as a backdrop to showcase the relationships of women, LQBTQIA+ people, and POC in a world dominated by oppressive religion
