I read this book at the recommendation of my tween daughter and I loved it! This is a “window” book about the experiences of a young girl struggling not with her weight but with the bullying around her weight. She is bullied by school peers, medical professionals, and even her mother. Through counseling the protagonist learns to use her voice and it’s a beautiful story to share with young people and an important read for anyone working with young people.
