Nikki lives with her mother and moves from town to town as her mother marries and divorces. Nikki's mom as it her 4th marriage when they move in Erin Heights, Ontario, Canada.

Nikki tries to live an as normal life as the "new girl" can live and it's about to change very abruptly when a strange stalker tries to convince her her father is a demon and she's a half-demon princess. Yeah Right! Crazy much?

Well not so much...

Demon Princess: Reign or Shine was a quick, fun and awesome novel! Michelle Rowen latest release will be a hit I'm sure of it! A special teenage girl, a dark, strange and awesome boy and a fabulous story. What else can a reader ask for?

I read the book in only a few hours, I couldn't put it down! I don't wanna sell the plot but it's nicely built, some characters aren't what they seem and everything unfolds at the very end. I can't wait for the next instalment, Demon Princess: Reign Check, coming out June 2010!

I was surprised this book was as good as it was. I wasn’t especially compelled by description and the cover doesn’t really fit the feel of the book at all--it reminded me of all those whiny rich white girl books that are ever so popular and that I tend to loathe. And yet, this book was actually pretty good and I loved the characters! Entertaining and interesting story. :)

Life cannot get more complicated, can it? Nikki was dealing with school, and then someone pop out and BAM! she is a demon princess. Will she accept her other self? This book is witty and charming, a good holiday read!

If I happen to come across the next book in the series, I wouldn't mind continuing on.

Ah...

Not exactly what I was expecting. I wasn't expecting much, mind, and what I got is more or less what I should have expected, but I wanted more. It seemed like it would be a little quirky, a little funny, but it wasn't. It wasn't exactly bad but it wasn't exactly good either. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it could have been so much better but it wasn't.

And surprise domestic abuse ahoy.

This was pretty EH. It was just quick and interesting enough that I finished it, but it definitely didn't light any fires. And while I do love me some light, fluffy reads, this fell a little too much on the "dumb" side of that equation. All the dialogue is ridiculous and sort of stilted, and the bad guy was pretty obvious right away. This could have been a really fun, charming book in more skillful hands, but the writing here is just not great. I would probably recommend this to those who unironically love [b:Twilight|41865|Twilight (Twilight, #1)|Stephenie Meyer|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1361039443s/41865.jpg|3212258].
