After reading the first two books, I read that there was a third one coming this year, but of course, as my live goes on, I forget. Seeing it in the library made me shook as I realised that I can continue on my reading journey, after a long depression break (6 months)...

It started off as, we'll... Let's just first apologise to Mr. Silvera, because I read the acknowledgments enough to see that he poured his heart in this book. I don't want to trample on it like a bad person. But, it's bad. Really bad.... It feels like as if the spark went somewhere and he was left with the feeling of something that was long gone.

Paz, as you may know, the kid who shot his father, suffered the consequences by being framed as a "killer". From then on, he took to a life of self harm and extreme depression. After trying to get his life for the best, many times, he's given up on it - calling it "Not-End-Days", or meaning : suicidal term that allocates for every day that isn't being announced by Death Cast as your last. So, he tries to plan his attempt, after multiple wrong things happenning - not getting his dream role, because of his past and his mother being pregnant. His plan is to go to the hollywood sign and shoot himself with the gun that he killed his father with, right on his deathversary.

Alano is the Death-Cast nepo baby, who, to me, is too priveledged to complain about anything in general. But even that, after betrayals from his closest friends mother, and an assassination attempt, he moves to LA for safety.

And fate brings the two latinx together. Did I mention gay? And they were latinx? And hot? Yea, maybe you didn't know. Adam didn't make it known.

And so they go through a lot of things that bored me, made me roll my eyes into oblivion and I really wanted to quit or wished that I was wrong... Nah, that's why they say that not every movie needs a sequel.

The thing that annoyed me most was when Paz was getting mad at Rio for being close to Alano... you guys met 3 days ago, who do you think you are? Having him diagnosed with BPD made the representation board look even worse.. As someone with BPD (unfortunately genetic), it's so lame to see a character written like this. I know that we split and get mad, but oh my Jesus lord, I was getting TIRED of hearing this twink cry left and right, at some point I wanted him to die. So sorry, but my god I've been like this too by the way, if yall are gonna judge me... And I've helped myself, not any hot latinx talking to me.

I just can't have any empathy for there gummy heads, they're SOOOO emotional.. and privileged (at least Alano).

By the way, have you noticed how we never have any main female characters, only helping cast (Lidia, Dahlia and Ariana?) Feels very suspicious...

Two stars for the only good thing in the book - providing closure with previous characters. Mateos father :'))), Plutos and every single thing referenced in this book, kinda feels good to know what happened. Knowing how Rufus dies made me sad, but didn't expect it :'))))))

And we have a fourth one on the way, Jesus another torture.....
