I still can’t wrap my head around this being a debut author as this series  definitely didn’t read that way and this final book in the trilogy was everything I hoped for and more. To to do this series the justice it was due I started this from the beginning again which I think assisted in contributing to the whole world immersion as I was completely entranced and enveloped in all things Onyx.

Book two concluded on a mega cliffhanger and whilst we the reader were aware of Arwen’s fate, poor Kane is totally bereft and a broken man firmly believing he has lost his mate. The only thing he has left to live for is avenging Arwen and obliterating his father so with this goal in mind he sets about making that happen. Meanwhile Arwen is the prisoner of a male she despises and separated from the man she has come to adore.

The conclusion sees Kane Arwen and there eclectic entourage scheme to accomplish there lofty goals all the while realising that one of them may have to pay the ultimate price for everything to play out and come to fruition.

We also get to witness Kane and Arwen fall deeper for each other as they attempt to utilise every spare moment of a rapidly dwindling hourglass and I absolutely adored Kane in this third book. It obvious he’s completely devoted to Arwen and she feels exactly the same way both wanting the dubious honour of sacrificing themselves just to spare the other’s likely demise.

The final culmination when it arrived was epic. Action packed and completely brutal. There was heartbreak and total despair followed by some much needed healing. It left me wrecked before piecing me back together.

This series has been quite the journey and I’ve enjoyed every moment I’m excited to see what this author brings next to the table in the future and I would definitely read them again. Highly recommend this series it’s a shelf keeper for sure.

I really like this series. It's not groundbreaking, but it is well written and a fun read. My main issue is that I felt like I reread the same book 3 times, nothing significantl  different happens
They have to go to some other kingdom and get something from them and/or get them to join their cause. Then fight Laz.
I feel like everything that happened over 3 books could've just been 1 or 2 books. Or since there's obviously going to be a Mari spin off, put her full story into the trilogy instead of repeating the plot. That being said, overall, there's fun banter, good spice, and a decent story that I would recommend to others. Also the narrators do a great job!

This was a good ending to this series. The action ramped up, the staked were high and the love story was heartbreaking. Totally enjoyed this series
