This was a good ending to this series. The action ramped up, the staked were high and the love story was heartbreaking. Totally enjoyed this series

Something I've noticed with these authors who's debut novel blows up is they can't keep quality up for the books that come after and I'm sure there's a lot of pressure and deadlines and all that but I really felt like the first book had so much potential but the last two left me incredibly disappointed like everything wrapped up fine hea's for all well kinda the author clearly has more books set in the universe coming up but it was all fairly predictable and lackluster in my opinion

Story was good just a lot left unfinished/unresolved in the end which I didn't like. Felt like it was a set up to do a spin off book with Mari and Griffin which is fine but just kind of annoying. Overall the writing of ending was just like a little chaotic like all the sudden Mari is really good at witchcraft despite being bad up until like a few days before...okay Just felt like the author wasn't 100% sure how to finish the book and tie all the ends up.
