Finishing a series is always a little bittersweet. I thought this was a good ending to the series overall though I am wondering (and hoping!) maybe some of the side characters will get their own story?

a great way to wrap up the story. i’ve loved this whole universe and all it has offered.
the only thing i won’t be ok with is not getting a book for mari and griffin and the clearly intriguing mystery thread left about mari’s magic. and the other plot lines left open.
