The magic of this trilogy got lost somewhere. The first book had promise, by the third it seemed forced. I felt that this book could have been ended about 3 times before it actually was. The relationship between the MMC and FMC seemed forced at times and natural at others.
The book series is fae and magic and dragons, so basically all things fantasy. It left me wanting though.

The fact that some important loose ends weren’t tied up was… very disappointing. That’s the main reason it’s 4 stars at max for me
Very good final installment. More action than the previous two books combined I think. A satisfying, yet predictable, ending.
I am typically not a fan of theMCs separated by magical death/coma trope, but in this case it was kind of interesting because the dead MC wasn't unaware of in some magical coma but fully aware and holding out hope that he'd figure out she's not dead and come for her. Still, not my favorite tropes, but it wasn't miserable either.
Oh, and what a refreshing change to have a book with Fae and no fated mates trope. These two love each other because of who they are, apart and together. Not because the stars say so.
As I said earlier, the ending was satisfying. And not overly rushed. So much so that theMCs thought the bad guy was dead a couple times and he kept coming back swinging. It made it that much more satisfying in the end.
One major complaint though - and it's a typical one. The epilogue. Hated it.These two met less than a year before the final battle. And he epilogue is 10 months later. So, at most, 2 years together. And they are IMMORTAL. Why does she have to already be pregnant?? I mean come on people, at least spend a couple decades being DINKs lol. Also, Mari and Griffin never figured their shit out? I'm assuming that was to leave it open for a Mari spinoff novel or series where she saves the Fae realm by finding Adelaide, and also gets with Griffin? Ugh.
