this is a great conclusion to the trilogy. It’s definitely spicy compared to the first two books. I really liked the character development in the first two books. In this one I kinda missing it, but the action makes up for it.

Overall, I've really loved this series and following the characters in it! This third book was a good conclusion. However, I did feel pretty hopeless for the characters for most of the book, and there were a few too many instances of thinking they were going to conquer and then something goes wrong. Still a really good fantasy series (that's an easier read than some others) though!

This was my least favorite of the series. I think because I truly hated Kane’s father and his intentions and treatment of Arwen so much that it soured the story for me. I also felt like it was a little too long. A few scenarios could have been skipped and the story would have not changed at all. However, I did really enjoy the series overall. It wrapped up well for me.
