Holy unresolved plot points, Batman. I would have really loved this final books if there had just been another chapter or so in an epilogue. A time jump would have been totally fine so everything didn’t have to resolve at once, but there was still a bunch not wrapped up (to me at least). How can we leave Lumera completely cutoff from everything?What was Alexander’s oath have to do with their children? How could Mari and Griffin never end up doing anything after so much build up??? The only way I’m okay with it is if the author plans for more in the world with them as the mains. Really brought down my enjoyment with the ending not bringing me enough closure.

I’ve been looking forward to the end of this trilogy but this definitely fell flat for me. Maybe I need a break from fantasy? You couldn’t pay me to care about Kane and Arwen in this book and it makes me so sad.
I really enjoyed the first 2 books in this series, but I couldn't really get into this one the same way. I still think this is better than many series that follow this same romantasy story we see everywhere, but didn't finish on a high note for me.

It was fun. And a satisfying ending to the series. I love Kane and Arwen.
3.5 for this one because the first quarter of the book where one camp didn't realise what happened at the end of the last book was quite fun. not sure about the conclusion though. felt a little bit all over the place if I'm honest
