After reading The Whistler, The Judge's List and The Firm, I couldn't wait to read the second novel about Mitch McDeere, and boy was I disappointed. I struggled to finish it, and I wish I'd just stayed with the amazing first book.

I can't give 3.5 stars so ill stretch to 4.
That extra star is just because it was great to be back with Mitch McDeere. I don't want to think about how long ago I read The Firm but it was fun to back in his world.
Typical Grisham on show here and builds nicely to the finish.
