The idea for story/plot was there but it just didn’t hit for me. The MFC was a little frustrating and there was repetitive inner monologue that didn’t need to be there. Not as spicy as advertised, but might get there in the next book. There is definitely potential I just don’t know if I will continue this story…

What du heck! I feel like that could have been half a book and continued so much farther into the story :’)   (hence the lack of character development…..we just met these ppl) Guess I’ll be continuing the series to find out what happens after all bc we know nothing!!

Typical shadow daddy wants to shag and marry the FMC for no apparent reason. He also doesn't talk to her, but she is into that. It's a quick, unchallenching poolside read, but nothing more.

I expected this to be pretty good, but this has blown my expectations out of the water. Lots of gorgeous fae plus Norse Mythology, a hint of spice that grows over time... this is peak enemies to lovers/slow burn in the best way.
