Life hasn’t been kind to Angela Strickland, when it comes to relationships, and that’s romantic and platonic relationships. So Angela has decided to avoid all relationships like the plague. Pushing her self into her work as a hair influencer she has built up a pretty big following and is pretty content with the life that she is built for herself until she isn’t.

Ryan Boyé is a man who doesn’t believe in relationships, or love for that matter and thinks that anyone who does is a fool. In town for business, he rents out Angela‘s duplex. He immediately notices her beauty but swears that he can’t cross that line due to him being her tenant, but it’s just something about Miss Strickland that he cannot shake.

Boy Ryan fall hard and fast well they both did and it was so beautiful to watch them grown in love!! And then segg scenes were giving honey! Ryan had to eat them words he lived by because when love hit him it hit him hard!

I can’t wait to read Renee’s story because that husband is trash and I need her to STAND UP!!!

This is the second book by this author where I wasn’t a fan of the FMC. Angela basically shut down her life and became a hermit after ending 2 long term relationships. She judged both of her sisters’ lifestyles, yet didn’t like when they criticized hers. I also didn’t really care for the MMC. He had some very concerning views on women when his POV started, and I don’t buy how quickly things changed for him when it came to Angie.

The storyline I enjoyed the most was Ryan helping her with her YouTube vlogs.

This comment is directed more toward the audiobook narration than the actual story, but I just KNEW Ryan would be from the islands once he was introduced. I died laughing when they kept doubling down on him being from Louisiana cause we do NOT sound like that in any part of the state

It was cute.
