Such a good read! When I tell you, I gasped, laughed out loud, got a little sad - I had all the feels. Angela and Ryan were perfection. LOVED that she had his nose wide open and acting all out of character. And I absolutely loved those crazy Strickland sisters!
I'm ready to move on to Renee's story, so I'll keep this short and sweet: read this book! It's soooo good!

This was an easy read. Even though it had a nice storyline, I felt like it moved too quickly. There were so many glimpses into aspects of the main characters that I wanted to know more about. Exploring some of their history in more detail would have created a stronger story.

I probably would've rated this a little higher if I didn't listen to the audiobook. As a creole girl who lives near the area Ryan is supposed to be from, I promise none of us talk in the accent that both narrators tried(especially Sean). Like someone else said, it disrupted the flow for me too and made getting through the book a challenge.
The story itself was OK. I read Let me Free you before, so it's nice that 4c Angie got her own story. The chemistry between the two just didn't feel as strong as some of her other works(even though they kept telling me they loved each other on page).Maybe it's bc we know for a fact that Ryan used to be a womanizer? Idk.

OMG, where do I start? This book reel me in from the jump. I love this book sooooo much that I couldn’t put it down. And the way these two characters came together and built such a beautiful bond. Only one a girl could wish for, oh how I wish this was so true to real life. How Ryan’s heart got put to the test in this book that it was so unexpected for him to fall in love with Ms.4C Angie was just beautiful. If I had a man who love to do my hair, I need to go ahead and marry him ASAP. Lol!!!
