You know this one got a potential to be a great book cause the plot is unique. However the writing style is bad.

Cool new take on angels. They're the bad guys! Fast paced and full of action and romance. Looking forward to reading book 2 of the trilogy and finding out what happens next!
This review contains a small guessable spoiler. If your thinking of buying this book I suggest you read this review first.
I just finished reading Angels and it just failed! You see, our hero, Alex, and heroine, Willow, are on the run from ‘angels’. Angels hell bent on destroying humanity ( y’ see what i did there angels/ hell bent? No oh well… guess I fail.)
I just found this book mediocre. It also lacked amazing writing, adjectives were being reused left, right and center! While I am glad I read it to say I have read it, I wont be buying the next one. Nor do I recommend it to anyone over the age of 12. It's very young YA.
However I would like to add that I did like the style of writing it kept me persevering with the book when I found myself tiring.
I don't recommend reading this book in a short space of time or one sitting like me.
Side note: So here they are stuck in a Log Cabin with one bed, and they’re there for 3 weeks and guess what? Not even one day into their LONG stay in this secluded romantic cabin they decide they are in love with each other. Que hot passionate sex and lots of rauncy moments I hear you say. Well sorry to disapoint you but they only have short tender lil kisses. May I also just take this moment to add he is 18, she 17. That is not too fuc.. I mean flipping young (sorry kids!)

This book was okay. I started off really well, but then as we got further and further into the story, it got less and less interesting for me and I didn't feel excited about the end, or compelled to read the rest of the series
This was great...until the romance was introduced. It was so freaking cheesy! It was worse than a Disney princess movie. And I LOVE Disney movies. Ugh.
This is more a 3.75. The good people at Usborne highly recommended this from it's YA series. And yes this sits squarely in the YA section, do not expect anything too deep. I'd go as far as to say Twilight fans will probably like this. I am one to enjoy a slightly-below-sterling book more than watching TV or a movie, so yes, I enjoyed dipping briefly into this world where angels feed off the energy of humans and angel killers rock. And lo and behold! A love triangle! It's not a series I will keep, and I am almost embarrassed at the cheesy cover that really doesn't do justice to the story. Now desperately seeking book three which is not out at the library yet.
This started off okay... But then there were 20-30 pages straight of teenagers making out, and I was done.
