When I say l have loved every book l've read by Fae Quin, that's no exaggeration. But this book...this book is on another level. There's banter. There's spice. There's affection and openness and laughter and comfort. (And more spice.) It's one of the best books l've read, period, and George and Alex are one of my favorite couples ever. The connection between these two men is just *chef’s kiss* — emotionally, mentally, physically, they are 100% two peas in a pod. (IYKYK.)

Final Thoughts
I adore this book. Absolutely ADORE it. Cloudy With a Chance of Bad Decisions deserves all the stars. Go get it right now: digital, paperback, hardback, whatever. Go!

This book was not written for me.
Between the big guy being literally every man who doesn’t take “Eff off” for an answer and then later his obsession with how little the other main is, the whole thing gave me major ick.
And I get that kinks are kinks. This one was not mine. It’s also the second book I’ve read by this author and I rated the other one low, iirc. So idk what I expected. 🤦

This book is a heartfelt, banter filled rollercoaster about two beautifully broken men, George and Alex, who crash into each other (emotionally and hilariously) at an airport, only to find out later that they’re both headed to the same wedding. Cue the awkward family matchmaking and a week of fake dating chaos at a campground.
George and Alex are both carrying scars from their pasts, trauma, insecurity, and that deep fear of never being enough or too much. But instead of running, they lean into each other and start trying to heal. Together. What follows is a whirlwind of vulnerability, wit, unexpected warmth, and just the right amount of spice. 🖤
The writing is sharp and emotionally rich, with side characters that are genuinely supportive and fun. The banter? On point. The emotional moments? Gut punching in the best way. My only (tiny) complaint is that the story felt a tad long in places, but honestly, I didn’t mind lingering in this world a little longer.
If you love fake dating, found family, emotional healing arcs, and characters who love big, this one’s for you.

I adore Fae’s Christmas Daddies series, but I couldn’t get into this one. I don’t mind a long book where it makes sense but I found myself skimming the last 30%.
The side characters were over the top, but well-meaning. The jokes didn’t really land and most of the length of this book was taken up by over-explaining. There was no subtext to enjoy and connect the dots.
And for as much space as Brendon took up in this book I was hoping for a more explosive reckoning
I will totally continue to support this author as some of their other books are wonderful, but this one didn’t do it for me.
