***ARC Review***

This is my honest and voluntary review.

This book brought endless smiles to my face. It is such a fulfilling read, even though both MCs are adorably messy, struggling emotionally, and kind of sad at times. I love that Alex and George are in their 30s. This book is funny, sassy, emotional, lovely, and swoon worthy. It’s so many emotions rolled into one. It’s sweetness and sorrow; pain and comfort. It’s pure, undying love between family and friends. This story is also about finding someone who accepts you exactly as you are, flaws and baggage included, and finding a partner that you trust to help you heal the broken little pieces inside yourself.

I really like that Alex and George’s families are trying to set them up. I enjoy how nosy and meddlesome they are as a group. I adore how much thought both families put into their matchmaking. Alex’s sister, June, is a delightfully rare bird. I love that it takes time for George’s walls to come down and for Alex to discard the various masks that he wears.

George and Alex both have to push through their discomfort and allow themselves to be vulnerable and needy with one another. It’s a wonderful thing to witness and a beautiful story to read. The connection between George and Alex is palpable. They have chemistry in spades. They have opposite personalities, and the grumpy/sunshine pairing really works in their favor. As does the size difference. Honestly, these two are very well suited for one another. I’m glad they get to explore their connection once they get comfortable and real with one another. Quin weaves such a captivating tale. Every word draws you in and makes you want to root for George and Alex’s much deserved HEA.

June, Roderick, the Miltons, Alex’s dad, and Missy all add to the appealing cast of characters in this book. (I am over the moon that Joe is getting his own book)! This story reads like a lovable rom-com. It has endearingly honest/raw moments, but the levity is *chef’s kiss.* Now go check it out!

What a truly stunning story this was!! Two men, so similar but so opposite both just needing to be loved for who they are. So so beautiful.

After a not so usual meet cute at the airport (involving a wayward sx toy), George is determined to ignore and dislike Alex - even when he ends up in the seat next to him on the flight.. and in his parents backyard at the BBQ and when he ends up being the brother of the bride for the wedding he is attending…

But even though Alex has pushed all his buttons, he vows to make it up to him, and they agree to be temporary boyfriends for the week they are in the woods for the wedding.

Everything about this story was wonderful, such a lush style of writing, tons of very steamy steamy spice, walls are brought down, and all the feelings! Loved it from start to finish.

And Alex, just bite him already. We all know you want to.

Enjoyed the characters and family dynamics a lot. Definitely the spicest Fae book so far, not necessarily my cup of tea but still liked it a lot.
