Enjoyed the characters and family dynamics a lot. Definitely the spicest Fae book so far, not necessarily my cup of tea but still liked it a lot.

Loved it. Gave all the feels.

Fae goes it again. I laughed so much with this one. The side characters were fucking hilarious. The smut was also top tier. My favourite part was the epilogue, I reread it three times. I didn’t know what to expect from this story and it delivered in every single way.

Would have been perfect if it were a touch shorter, otherwise amazing!

I considered June trans the entire book, but I couldn’t really tell which is either a sign of a fantastic or not so fantastic author

I loved this book from start to finish! Fae writes such adorable but also heartfelt romances and this one was no different.
It follows George as he flies home to attend his ex's wedding. It would be a peaceful time away from the mess that is his life but then he meets Alex. Alex is being set up with George by his sister as she thinks he needs someone. Alex doesn't want to be set up but the more time him and George spend together the more he is starting to doubt that statement. Alex pushes every button George has and he likes it. He starts to realise that the wall he built are coming down the more time Georgie is around.
I loved Alex and George so damn much. They are both so cute and I wanted to give them a hug! Seeing them change around each other was so cute to see. Alex really teased George so much in the beginning that he really thought Alex didn't like him. George luckily quickly figured out that is just who Alex is. They have both been told that they are too much and need too much by exes and so they try to hide parts of themselves. But they both realise the other one doesn't mind being too much so they let their walls down. Seeing them fall in love with each other but also keep denying there is anything there was a bit funny to see and I loved the scene were they finally figured out they want to be together! Fae really got me rooting for them so much!
If you are in the mood for a cute, small town, hurt/comfort, steamy queer romance this one is for you!
Thanks Fae Quin for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Alex and Georgie both had a lot going on. They were  both nursing old wounds and afraid to love again—until they slowly, hilariously, and beautifully let their walls come down. I smiled through so much of this book; the banter, the chaos, the family shenanigans—it was pure joy.

Dildos meet cute, need I say more? From apology pickles and snake wrangling to friendship bracelets and stolen picnics, every moment was either laugh-out-loud funny or quietly heartfelt. Alex is a golden retriever in human form; Georgie, a cautious stray cat—and watching them figure each other out was magic.

The emotional vulnerability hit just as hard as the spice (and oh, the spice). It’s a slow burn that builds and scorches. That shower scene? Still playing on loop in my head.

At over 600 pages, it somehow still wasn’t enough. I could read about Alex and Georgie forever. If this book is a bad decision, I never want to make a good one again.
