This was an interesting story but seems unnecessarily long to me. It was atmospheric which I know some people enjoy a lot. If you enjoyed The Time Traveler's Wife, this will be right up your alley!

Presenting a laundry list of my thoughts:

—Once I knew Henry’s time was short I saw the end coming from a mile away. It was very predictable, but also satisfying.

—I bawled at the dedication “I remember you”

A book about remembering what everyone else forgot.

There’s something so heart wrenching about this book. Maybe it’s because each character can describe something in your heart or your brain or a whisper you let out in the dead of night. The world changing and memories staying and things forgotten as quickly as you see it.

Ending made up for most of the book to me. Love the writing and prose. I just think it was a little slow paced and the flashbacks dragged on for me. Love the concept and would recommend.
