This book was a joy to read. It was light, but steamy; funny, yet surprisingly emotional.
It is beautifully written, with a hilarious self-effacing inner monologue from the FMC. The witty banter and one-liners with the MMC develop palpable sexual tension. And you want to be there when the tension finally breaks!

I started reading this for some angst, which was very well done, but I was also pleasantly surprised by how funny the FMC was. LOVED her. And I loved the grumpy MMC.
Humor, well thought out dynamics, complicated feelings all around, and the pacing wasn't too slow or too rushed. 🤷🏻 I liked it. I'm gonna try other books by the author.
