Omg! This saga keeps getting interesting, I get that this are children’s books, but I’m such a kid at heart and such a Disney geek that I love this books.
The plot of the novel was good, has action and drama and love and honestly is better than I expected.
Starting book 3!

Much more expansive than the first book in the series. The plot flowed much better and was more engaging.
This took place right after the first movie, and was quite intense. The second movie ignores done of the things that happened in this book, so it's a bit AU in that respect, but an enjoyable read.
“Sometimes, even reformed villains needed to have a little fun.”
It’s a charming adventure, mystery-esque story, that younger readers are likely to enjoy.
As a 22 year old, even I had a bit of fun with this book. It was a quaint through-back to the kind of things I might have enjoyed when I was younger, without rereading something from that time of my life, so there is a hint of anticipation or unpredictability.
It had all the feel good, gang of friends vibes that are just a straight up good time.
There are concepts and acts included that could serve as lessons for a younger audience, which are always good things to have in a novel.
The characters are relatively true to how they are portrayed in the films, at least to me. Although it has been a hot minute since I’ve watched any of them..
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3.5

….I stopped reading this book...There is a huge gap in the Descendants timeline between the novels. Unfortunately, for me, the two page forward at the beginning wasn't enough! And after about 10 chapters I was over trying to piece everything together. Such a drag...
