Not bad. Not as good as the first one, but once it got to the main point things progressed. Could have used some work in the climax because I didn't realize it was the climax until it was over.
Before I had purchased this book I had already heard about them making a Descendants 2 movie. I bought this book thinking it was going was going to be based off the new movie, I was completely wrong. This book isn't even close to the movie. I had just finished the book a couple weeks before the movie came out and was frankly confused. I did love both this book and the new movie though. The book is very compelling and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I really loved this book and I can't wait to read the next one.
I really need the next one and I wish I had a set date to know when it will come
I love this book so much! It has amazing characteristics about it! From the references to modern day Disney and the humor that brings this book all together. Can't wait to read the new and upcoming series, School of Secrets, that comes out this summer!
It was a good continuation of the first book and the movie, however it became pretty predictable. I guss this is the sickness of a book that showcases an ensemble, they tend to give each of the members an equal tasks, which makes the next event predictable.
I liked it better than The Isle of the Lost. It was fun to see what the characters od Descendants were doing after the movie and I enjoyed the plot.
This one was a lot better than the first one for me. It was interesting how the movie played a part in the story lines of these books. I’m really looking forward to the next one.
I think it was very good and very well written. Plently of action and makes you think.
I enjoyed this sequel to the Disney Descendants novels. It is hard to suspend belief when all the Disney villains are dead at the end of their movies. It says a lot to the writing that I suspended this belief. The story was face paced and easy to follow without talking down to the reader. I enjoy how Melissa de la Cruz does not belittle her audience and writes an appropriate story for young children.
Of course anything Disney focused has my full attention. Now that I’ve read the book, I can finally watch the DCOM! #instareview It was a bit slow at the beginning, but jam-packed with action at the end. I loved learning more about my favorite Disney characters and their kids, and there was even a twist I didn’t see coming!
