This was great, and unexpected. Admittedly, I am very sick of Neferet and Kalona and I want them to just go away and find some new enemy for Z and the gang to deal with, but this book turned out pretty well. I was disappointed that it was so short, but the next one is apparently coming out in November, so I'll deal.
Ok so WTF!!! WHY did he have to die, i mean seriously? That was uncalled for. It took me so long to stop crying after he was killed and poor damian! And while i'm being annoyed at people dying, Nereret, WHAT THE HELL. Did you really have to kill her, she's been through enough already. I don't care if i didin't particularly like her >:( Stupid bull. Anyways...back on track, Zoey and Stark were so adorable and the whole tree bit was nawws :P Kalona better not fuck it up for them. Or Heath for that matter, if e comes back and skrews everything up with the whole Zoey/Stark thing i will be seriously pissed off. They're just so cute together <3 So Stevie Rae and Rephaim, good for them, they worked things out :D And congrats to Kalona for getting away from Neferet(Y) All i can say to Dragon is..for shame -_- Round of applause to Damian for getting through everything without crumbling completely :3 Also yay for Erin, Shaunee, Aphrodite, Darius and anyone i might have missed :) Can't wait for Destined to come out! ^_^
Finally finished it, Can't wait for the next one.

the deaths never stop and hurt a little more each time. love zo and stark. hate kalona for what i’m entirely sure was his doing towards zo at the end. MAJOR plot twist that has me super curious for what’s to come.
I'm really surprised at this book. I know most of the books are a bit down sometimes but I felt this one was depressing. It had some great points but I'm really getting tired of everyone getting hurt. Jeez.
Also when I read this series the first time, I enjoyed it, now reading this series I want to smack stevie ray, the twins and some of the other characters. I feel like they are stupid when they are calm but when riled up, they talk like normal adults.
This book was good though. I loved how it eventually tied in. Although there were some treads hanging that I wish would have been figured out by the end of the book. Like the new stone necklace, Starks connection, etc
