Slightly better than the last one with a bit more happening but overall average. I really like Rephaim and Stevie Rae's relationship and I'm glad of the outcome between them in this book. Zoey and Stark are cute but they got another storm coming! The ending really shocked me, I know Neferet is evil but the lengths she is willing to go to rule the world seem never ending.

the writing is horrible. The authors feel the need to make up words.... enough said.
I gave this one two stars because so much pissed me off about it!

Jack dies and I’m not okay with that at all. He didn’t deserve to die.
Zoey’s mom dying in the end was also infuriating but maybe something else will come out of that.
Heath choosing to go back to Z was not shocking at all so we shall see how this goes.
I still can’t believe how much this series is making me want to know what happens next! It’s annoying

Good YA series but at this point it needs to come to a close as the story is not really moving any more. Make a secondary series or something.

So, I've been acutely aware that, for the past four books or so (since Untamed, I think) I've only really been reading this books because I care about what happens to Stark. THAT'S IT. I used to like Damien, but his character seemed to drastically fade into the background. I still really like Aphrodite, and if she (as well as Stark) dies, I'll be rather cross. The Rephaim/Stevie Rae side thing was interesting for about two minutes, but then I got bored with it...as I got bored with most of the storylines for this series.

Overall, this was entertaining! I’m glad I decided to listen to the abridged version. For the past couple books, I find them drawn out with details that aren’t important. With this version, you get the important and necessary things that add to the story. I enjoyed this audiobook and the ending was shocking!
This book was amazing I can't wait until the next one!
