I really wanted to like this. The smut was fun but I was super confused by the Gods and the world they were living in. I don’t regret reading it but I wish I would have checked it out at the library instead of buying it.

3.75⭐️ rounded up. It was a good book. I always love a good retelling of Greek mythology. Not what I was expecting from other reviews I’ve seen. I’ll definitely be continuing the series.

Mi aspettavo un retelling fantasy della storia di Ade e Persefone e invece mi sono ritrovata a leggere un romanzo erotico che di mitologico ha solo i nomi dei personaggi.
A parte che è tutto sbagliato (ok voler fare un retelling ma non puoi di certo scrivere cose inesatte e senza senso), non c’è niente di interessante qui. È tutto troppo cliché ed irritante. Non è nemmeno fantasy.
È semplicemente un romanzetto porno trash spacciato come retelling per intrattenere, potevamo tranquillamente farne a meno.
Chissà se riuscirò mai a leggere un libro in cui la storia di Ade e Persefone sia scritta come si deve, tutti quelli letti fino ad ora sono stati una delusione pazzesca.
