Disappointing. Honestly, between a matter of maybe 30 pages there were 6 or 7 separate sex scenes. Very little story. It was boring. I flicked forward a bit , still the same. Honestly couldn't be bothered with finishing it.

I wanted to love this book! I loved the concept and that it didn’t shy away from raw emotions. BUT! It was very unrealistic and took my 60% of the book to feel character development, even then it felt forced and unrealistic. I think if you want pure smut, this would be a great choice. But, don’t expect a well developed story.

It’s not going to win any literary awards, but damn it, it gets the job done. Loved the characters and the plot was engaging. Great level of spice and consent throughout

This was such a let down. After all of the four and five star reviews that I have seen and all of the hype about how amazing this book is, I went into it with high expectations that just weren't met. The writing was okay and the plotline was...predictable at best. Imagine if the Greek gods were mobsters in a torn city...now add in some mildly kinky sex and angst and boom, you've got "Neon Gods". I wanted to like it but it just felt so silly and underwhelming as a whole. I personally have no plans of continuing on with this series but I would recommend it if you are just looking for something fun that reads like a Wattpad drabble.
