A good fun, sexy take on the Persephone myth that gives her like a modicum more agency than most retellings do.

Honestly itd be a 5 star if Hades didnt say "panty" so much. He's a thirty something politician who runs a sex dungeon, whybis he saying panty so much?

The book itself was stellar and kept me guessing the whole time. My only complaints were with the narrations- and only when the female narrator voiced Hades and when the male narrator voiced Persephone.

So 5 stars for the book and 4 stars for the audiobook. Since I'm reviewing the audiobook, can't rate it higher than 4.25.

I was not prepared for this book. Going into it, I only knew it was a new twist on the beloved Greek Mythology. Not only was it a beautifully written story that paints Hades in a new different light, but it also had scenes in there I would never tell my mother about (if you know what I mean. I can NOT wait to get my hands on the second book to see where this series goes. Wow!!!! 100/10
