My first ever 2 stars rated book of 2021. I was excited to read a retelling of Hades and Persephone, but this book disappointed me so bad. The plot was leading up to nowhere, the world-building was weak (barely even there), why did I even spend my time reading this? I don’t even know myself.
I’m sure the author put in so much hard work into the making of this book but I’m so sorry, this was not it.

While I loved the new take on the story of Persephone and Hades, this book was written horribly. The characters had 0 character development and made choices that made absolutely no sense. Hades was lovable but not fleshed out enough.
Hades and Persephone retelling. Lovely and entertaining and sexy. Can’t wait to read Electric Idol!
DNF'd, predictable romances are fine but the characters should be true to themselves. Hades was the softest puppy ever and I wasn't a fan.
