This was one book which I couldn't put down, at ALL. I took an off from school to finish it in a record time of...7 hours i think? I didn't even have a bath.
A fitting conclusion to one the best series I've ever come across. Galbatorix, again, was as menacing as ever- and it was kind of sickening to read the tortures he put Nasuada through. Nasuada and Murtagh- the best part was that it was so unexpected. There was no warning at ALL that this was going to happen. I think that was the best, humanitarian part I loved about this book. Roran's battle heroics are astounding, but the way Ergaon defeats Galbatorix is...aah, AWESOME. It's so shocking and thrilling at the same time when he discovers the Eldunari and dragon eggs....oh, but the ending. *sigh* WHY DID PAOLINI HAVE TO SEPARATE ERAGON AND ARYA?????? WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM??
That's all.

It’s actually over. It had taken me a month to read the whole seriers. Now that I know about Murray’s I can’t wait to read it.
Overall what a brilliant and heartfelt finale. Sloan seeing his daughter and granddaughter made me cry a little inside. It was just so I do t know what to say.
I really hoped that Ferin and Sapphira would have babies together.
The ending was so bittersweet

This ending rapidly caught up with me and I feel like I still have so many more questions.
SpoilerWhat's the go with Angela - what's her back story? What about the hermit? Why did Arya/Eragon not get together? What about Nasuada/Murtagh? Why can't werecats become dragon riders?

Audiobook version was hilarious - the dragons in particular were yoda-esque and were often a sharp awakening as I was falling off to sleep.

TL;DR
SpoilerAll of Eragon's friends became Kings and Queens of their respective races. And then everyone from the Fellowship meets up to see Eragan and Saphira sail off the edge of the known world.
