The first big villain, the Governor, shows up. Is it possible to hate a character more quickly? What a sicko. Good volume, decent character stuff going on, and some big twists.

The governor in the comics makes the governor in the show look like a choir boy .... damn he's one fucked up character.

The safety of the prison might be at risk, with the introduction of new characters. Causing all kind of trouble. One of them bring a whole new kind of creepy to the table.

This is honestly like a looking at a car crash. It sucks and it’s hard but for some reason you can’t look away. The writing is shit and the clear misogyny is enraging but I just keep reading it just to see what happens. Honestly, if I wasn’t a fan of the show I wouldn’t even bother.

Omg! I’m glad the tv show toned down the violence. This one made me so tense.

a helicopter crash draws them out of the prison and introduces the governor, who is evil straight away. rick gets his hand chopped off instead of merle like in the tv show. and the governor loses an ear rather than an eye like in the tv show.
