Wow, this was a lot. Very realistic and truthful accounts from the author's perspective being a border agent, as well as their experiences with the immigration process. I feel a lot of people who would never read this, should have to, to get some insight.

Hard read. Difficult subject matter. I felt the book could have dug deeper given the author personal connections. I found the style of writing hard to follow and at times felt like an essay. However I liked seeing the border form both sides the enforcers and the crossers.
