The ending moved a little fast and the slow burn was a little too slow for my liking but all in I'm glad they got the ending they did!

There was no reason for this book to be so long. I absolutely loved spending more time with Arthur and Ben, but the inner dialogue was waaaay tooooo long. Even though I fully believe these characters should be together it was a bit of a drag. The side characters really carried this one. Even though I was not excited about the ending of What If It's us, I don't know if another monster of a book was the best choice. I did have a great time with this monster. 6.86 on CAWPILE TW// panic attacks
I didn’t know what to think heading into this because sequels are rarely great, and I wasn’t head over heels for the first book’s writing despite falling in love with the characters. I was blown away though by how sweet and disarming this story was, and I lost count of the number of times I cried. Becky and Adam knocked it out of the park with this one…Here’s to more beautiful queer love in this world!!
