Damn, what an ending. “The Veiled Kingdom” is a romantasy but the world building and power scaling is very vague in my opinion. The book has a plot but I think it mostly focuses on Nyra & Dacre’s relationship. Dacre is hot af. I ate up all his possessive moments. If you want a mostly vibes and easy to read fantasy story with spice then this may be the book for you. My biggest gripe is that it wasn’t a standalone. Why can’t we have fantasy standalones?!

3.5 -love hollys books they are easy to read fantasies. some trouble in a kingdom. boy meets girl. i thought the interest in each other was kinda quick but maybe that was me. felt the last 1/4 was spice heavy and wish it was more spread out (could be my tired eyes, it’s 10:19pm). but overall excited to continue this journey/ story. see what happens.

Read like a bad wattpad. Characters constantly contradicting themselves in a way that makes no damn sense. Feels like the author really only knows how to write smut and it’s not even good the rest was just god awful

I enjoyed this but it was a little too quick for my liking idk. I needed this to be double the length and more slow burn and relationship building. Dacre has a dirty mouth and instantly went super possessive super quick which I usually like but it needed more time lol
