All the qualities of a great book brought into one. The world building, spice and storyline was just phenomenal. There was some grammatical errors, but it was easy to get past that with the way this book progressed. I didn’t even write this review until after starting book two. 🫣

This book could have used more world building but I rate books by how much I enjoy them and I enjoyed this book immensely. What’s funny is I absolutely HATED the writing style in A Kingdom of Stars and Shadows, especially because it was almost back to back sex scenes. But this book wasn’t like that and I take back all the harsh things I’ve said about this author. She’s redeemed herself. I just hope the series continues to keep me as enthralled as the first book did!
