Holly never disappoints! She always delivers exactly what you need. I enjoyed this book so much. Holly's writing is always seamless and it shines through in all of her work!

The story was incredibly well-written, it kept me captivated every second! The characters immediately captured my heart. They have depth and charisma and a story that shows how they became who they are.
This isn't your typical romantic fantasy. It has a plot that keeps you engaged with the world and its characters. The story is told without any unnecessary scenes or details. And the spice can’t be beat!
This book has everything for those who love spice, action, magic, and the enemies to lovers trope. The spice, plot, and character building was deliciously balanced.
And that ending... Holly might just be the most clever author!
I mean if you wanted to write a book leaving readers fiending for more, this book shows just how to do it!

I can't wait to dive deeper into this world and learn more about the characters Holly introduced/introduces.

My Rating: 4/5

This was a quick read that I couldn’t put down. While it gave us the basics of the world, the length played a part in what could’ve been more world building. Given the overall tone of the book though, I don’t think that’s needed. I’m into enemies to lovers, but not when it’s one sided because WTF WAS THAT ENDING! it’s stuck in my head and I hate it so much and I need to read the next book. I feel gutted for Nyra. Dacre is a weasley little fuck boy.
