So much potential but it no connection to the characters and the book went from enemies to lust so quick. Very disappointing

Where to begin... as soon as I started
reading I couldn't put it down. It was
such an intriguing book. It captures
love, loss, and plenty of twists and
turns. That cliffhanger left me in a
chokehold. I seriously didn't see that
happening the way it did. Loveedd it!!
Can't wait for "The Hunted Heir."

Really wanted to love this one, it's so damn beautiful but the "story" was kinda non existant and boring, the characters weren't really likable, there was no chemistry between the two main, no twists, no surprises, no tension. The writing was simple and I ok but not really good.
I will not read the rest of this series

I feel like this series has a lot of potential but didn’t love that MMC was so possessive for seemingly no reason and that the FMC never stood up for herself. But I guess she liked it? The world is interesting and I feel like I could grow to love the main characters. This is also a pretty short book for the amount of stuff packed in there and could’ve been like 200 pages longer to make it feel more complete and detailed.
