Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.
So. I’m a reader who often gravitates toward fluffed-up or “romantic” writing styles, and rarely do I read "hard sci-fi" without more of a fantasy touch. I am not the primary audience for this book, but I’d heard good things from early reviewers and knew that others enjoyed the author, so I decided to try something new…and was shocked to fall in love with it. It’s one of the only books of its kind to really hook me and keep me invested until the end. It has heart, and I adore it for that.

I love this book sooooo much. I enjoyed the nerdy jokes, the biochemistry and quantum physics refresher and not to mention the friendship of intergalactic proportions.
To Mr. Weir: THANK! Fist my bump.
To Ridley Scott: Make into film question?
Ahhh forget it, turns out there’ll be a movie adaptation coming soon!
One of the best reads of all time. Also best to listen to the audiobook. Trust me.

Gorgeous. Stunning. I laughed, I cried. It made my dumb, smooth brain understand relativity, and that is a feat in and of itself.
I adored Grace and Rocky. I enjoyed how the past was revealed to us in increments. The imagery and banter were beautifully written. A masterfully executed story.
