3.5 this one was fun but harder for me to get into. The last half saved it for me. I loved podaxis as a side character. And I like the shape of Dorian’s character throughout the story.

I love fairy tale retellings (when they are done well). This one was done pretty well. It was not my favorite in the series, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.
Little Mermaid meets the Bachelor. An intriguing concept. It didn’t capture my interest as much as the others, but it was good.
Content warning: PG-13 sexual content, some instances of very strong language. This one is definitely new adult; whereas, I think the others straddled that line. But it’s still a tame new adult book.

Okay but this was honestly a good read. I hadn't read a single pov romance in awhile, but I thought the pacing of the story was great. I read it in one sitting. Would definitely recommend.
