If you loved Professor Hunter in the Hunted series, prepare to fall even harder! In Obsessed, we see the story play out through his POV, and it is HOT. If possible, this book is even steamier than the original! I LOVE that this book gives us an inside look at his thoughts as he falls for Penny, and what the internal struggle he goes through before he finally gives in. I’ve always loved reading the guy’s perspective in books, and this HAS to be one of my favorites! The way he falls for her…GOSH. It gets me in my feels. Even though I’ve read the original series through Penny’s POV, I was still engaged & interested until the end!!! Ivy does it AGAIN, and is a literary genius!!!! HIGHLY recommend!

Absolutely LOVED this book and learning even more about my favorite book boyfriend, Professor James Hunter. Super steamy and it left me longing for more of The Hunted Series but as told by James. So much information we didn’t get from Penny that is coming to light! I’m reading for the next installment!!

I loved this book!!! The Hunted Series is one of my top favorites of all time so I was so excited waiting on Obsessed to release! Reading James pov was fantastic and it has a lot of new content that isn't in temptation

I loved reading Jame’s perspective of things. It really makes you realize just how much he was going through and made me that much happier for him that he got his happy ever after with Penny! That ending left me on pins and needles though! Even though I read this after I finished the whole series, I did not expect what happened and can’t wait to read what happens next!

Full of misogyny and lack of consent by men in the book. If I never read another book like this, I'll be good. This book reminded me of why I rarely read straight romance books anymore.

DID NOT FINISH: 39%

It just wasn't for me. I quit reading at 39%.
It was too slow and Professor Hunter was just a little too creepy for me.

I love it when author's write POV's from another perspective. It's awesome getting the other characters view and being inside the mind. James struggle with believing in himself and thinking he doesn't deserve Penny just goes to show what an awesome man he is. He's been broken and now he's found his person that makes him want to be better. It's so sweet.

I stopped reading this at 53%. I really tried to like the characters and whatever they had going on which wasn't really a relationship? There’s no building of a relationship between James Hunter and Penny. I was hopeful as I turned to another page that it’d get better but this wasn't It for me. The hot scenes were nice but this story was lacking character development.

sorry :(
