DID NOT FINISH

Who let me check this out when I was eleven. Of course I thought this was boring after watching Muppet Treasure Island.

I reread this classic while my son read a copy and it was fun to see his reactions on how things played out. A great adventure story in which young Jim is quite the unlikely hero.

It's been a long time, since Dad read this to me before bedtime. But, I am happy to report, it is just as pleasurable a read now as when I was 10.

Read on new years day. wonderful classic wish it was lo her though.

I think I didn’t know enough about boats to like this that much, but it was great anyways.

Not the best book I've ever read, but I definitely feel more 'clued in' to the world....there are a lot of pop-culture references to Treasure Island. Reasonably engaging, quick read. I'd probably have TRULY enjoyed it were I a young kid and not a jaded middle-aged frumpster!

Having Jim Hawkins must be some kind of good luck charm for pirates; this kid saved lives time and time again on a single adventure
