The story is meh.
I lost interest about 30% in. I rarely DNF but I didn't want to waste my time anymore. 2 stars because maybe it was my mood at the time but I didn't think so.

I've been on a darker side of reading kick, and let me just say. Woah.
This book has a billion trigger warnings. For good reason. But oh my GODS is it a good read. It is a delicious mix of romance, spice, creative death, humor and character development. The end has a twist that tore my brain apart. I seriously put my Kindle down and went "I didn't just read that. No, I'm definitely imagining things." And then my best friend and my fiance had to listen to my crazy ranting (Imagine Charlie Day's conspiracy meme) as I tried to work through what just happened.
4 stars only because I felt like there were a few spots where loose ends were kind of messily tied up, but I still vastly enjoyed this book.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but this book was amazing. It was the first book I had read from Gigi and I devoured it! The plot was amazing, there were so many twists and turns.. the smut was the best! If you’re into dark romance, this is definitely a book you want to read!! if you’re looking to get into dark romance, I would definitely read the trigger warnings before proceeding. Overall, I loved it
