INFINITY STARS HELLO

What can I say? Golden Fool chewed me up and spit me out I fear. I went through every emotion maybe times 10. She's Royal Assassin's older sister, so I was bound to love this. This entire trilogy is just like coming back home but also there's that uneasy feeling because there's looming threats in peripheral.

We're thrown DEEP into Buckkeep politics. There's really good intrigue and mystery surrounding the betrothal negotiations with the OutIslands, really liked the bits and pieces were pick up here. I did not expect to scream at the Bingtown easter eggs this book. Loved seeing
Selden and Jek
! We don't really leave Buckkeep and I don't mind. I love the books where we see Fitz at the center here, juggling the changes in his relationships with people old and new. The character relationships this book were insane. First, FITZ AND THE FOOL??
Their strife and tension had me
:(((( I love them so much but I think these conversations were bound to happen but of course not the way I wanted Fitz to handle it, but I'm so interested in seeing how their relationship grows and changes from this. The crumbs we get are so good. I NEED THEM HAPPY AND TOGETHER AND BACK ASAP
Chade and Fitz, I'm always so conflicted about, but do love in its own way. Dutiful and Fitz LOVEEEEEEEE, like LOVEEEEE. Kettricken my dear, every scene she's in chef's kiss especially with Fitz this book.
Them sharing grief over Nighteyes
Their moments are so special to me and made specifically for me. Nettle <3 and maybe Hap too (stressed me out too much this week sorry).

Bawled my eyes out seeing Burrich again and how much he's still grieving Fitz and blaming himself phew. Then the Patience mentions and her referring to Fitz still as her son likeeee my chest hurts y'all. Then BAM Nighteyes still giving Fitz's comfort I can't. I really like how Chivalry still feels like a looming figure in the series.

The near death scene, also cried bad here. Something about how Fitz reverts back to the little boy, thinking people abandoned him, afraid he's going to die alone. This and when everyone feels like they're going to lose him, Chade especially, and seeing the coterie formed in that moment. Yeah.
