I liked the first one better. This was good, but felt off. The way the last book ending and the second began, the main issue felt like it was resolved too quickly and then another random issue. Just felt choppy. Spice was great, but plot suffered a bit on this one.

In the first book, Lark seemed to make the best of the position she found herself in. In this book, you learn more about why she is the way she is. She finds the light in dark situations and will do what is necessary to protect the ones she cares for,

Her men are pissed, Lark betrayed them. The Tailor boys slowly realize she had a plan all along, and possibly a person on the inside who cares for her safety. While imprisoned, the Tailors see a glimpse into Lark’s past and are forced to watch some of the horrors unfold.

As Rosa said in her blurb- Love really does hurt in this book. Be prepared for an emotional ride with one of my favorite Female main characters and some sexy men.

I highly recommend this book and series!

Um Ms. Rosa Lee I absolutely commend you. This duet has been a wild ride of emotions, but you wrote it in a way that allowed me to feel each emotion out mc’s felt, as they felt it. I absolutely loved the healing journey of Lark, & also Heather & the boys. I’m sad to have finished this duet. It will definitely be a re-read for me!

I need more

I need more, I don’t want it to end, I want to see the Taylor men as daddies! This has got to be one of my favorite RH mafia series. I loved how hard and brutal these men could be including their father but how loving and gentle they truly are.

Pretty please there has got to be more.

Addicted To The Ruin picks up where Addicted To The Pain left off and let me tell you , my heart was pounding with the events happening. Lark is once again having to relive her traumatic past and her tailor boys can’t do anything about it just yet. I love the bloodthirst that swiftly follows and it finally looks like Lark will be free of her past but she still suffers with the nightmares that have haunted her.

The boys will do anything for their little bird and I love how protective they are of her , even as they have to deal with betrayal and witnessing something horrific, they still shelter her. Adam and Lark’s relationship is refreshing with both wanting to put everything in the past and move on. I loved seeing more of an insight into Lark and Rooks sibling relationship , it’ll be interesting to see more of Rook and how he is dealing with the things he had to endure aswell.

Throw in more emotional heartbreak and you’ve got yourself one book that can emotionally ruin you.
