i absolutely loved this book, i read it in like 3 days. i will say, going from reading the 'Twisted' series to this was a big jump. they're both romance but this was less sexually explicit (i sound like an old lady).

this trope was a doozy but in the best way. friends to lovers to enemies to lovers??? OBSESSED. give me more. i loved Kathleen and Cal's story so much. the connection was genuine and the chemistry was THERE. however, i will say i liked 'Funny You Should Ask better'. My only issue with this one was that we didn't get a sense of Cal's betrayal. We heard about it from the beginning and was the very reason why Kathleen was so conflicted when she started getting closer to Cal again. We know that Cal didn't defend Kathleen at all but i wanna know what exactly was said. In "Funny You Should Ask', we also got a third person perspective along with Chani's. There were interviews and articles and i wouldn't loved to see that more in this one. although, in saying that, it was probably written this way because Kathleen was more angry about what Cal didn't say, rather than what he did say. INTERESTING

this is a great, quick read that has everything: musicals, a cat, Rhode Island, wigs, tension, and best of all, chorography
