It's a rare thing to close this one out with tears in my eyes.
It has been so long when thrillers like these have held me captive that I have to read it non stop despite the hammering in my chest that something will happen to my characters. Characters that have been so dear to me because of how well-written they were.
This is Alex Finlay's best so far and looking forward to more!

This was my first Alex Finlay book and I really enjoyed it. I had both the ebook and audio copies thanks to St. Martin’s Press and Macmillan Audio so I was able to use both to fly through it. It had me constantly wanting to turn the next page or listen more. There were so many pieces to the story that I was curious how everything would come together.
Ryan loses his girlfriend Ali in an abduction and because he’s knocked out, he has no idea what happens to her. Even though he moves on with his life, he always knew there was more to everything. Years later, while he’s studying abroad, he sees the man of his nightmares. He risks a lot to follow the man to try to get answers.
I enjoyed the multiple narrators. It really gave depth to the story.

I had the best time with this thriller. It was fast paced and engaging in a way I've been craving. I loved the separation into three distinctive storylines that are all clearly connected. The way they flowed was perfect and I never found myself upset at a POV switch, I wanted to know about everyone.
