3.75! There could’ve been so much more chemistry!! the plot was cute but the details were just not it! First off I skipped the spicy scenes so half way through the book i’m basically skimming it and the fact that he wanted to be intimate with her with another man’s ring on her finger?!?! make it make sense…

Enjoyed it overall but def not as strong as the last two books.

The dad, Harvey, is still my fav character and quite frankly I love him.

I absolutely loved the friends to lovers, slow burn romance in this book! Jasper and Sloane were such a dynamite couple, and I loved seeing them finally realize their feelings for each other. Jasper's protective nature with her was so heartwarming, and Sloane's ability to keep his head above water in his darkest times was beautiful. I did think it was a little longer than it needed to be, and truthfully, I felt like the book lost just a tiny bit of trajectory once they actually got together. I think wrapping the story up sooner could have helped with that, though. It was full of swoon-worthy and laugh out loud moments, and I was so glad to see them both finally get who and what they wanted. Elsie did a fantastic job of showcasing their past friendship and building up the tension and longing in their present one. Overall, it was a great read!
