Okay, I still hate Joel Leslie's narration, I still hate having everybody except Josh sounding as Gabe, but I love this series and I wanted to finish it, so... I resigned myself to it *laughs*

Now, into the story! Which, of course, I loved! I like to see how there is an arc that goes beyond a single book, involving Gabe case, of course. Yes, there are some answers here, but not everything is neatly tied up. I know there is more to come.

And I enjoy seeing how these two men are setting a bit more comfortably into happiness. Yes, yes, there are some cheesy moments, but let's be honest here, aren't we all a bit cheesy when we are happy and in love? :P

Love thus series

Fun characters, a little bit of mystery equals a fun read! The mystery in thus was really good. More developed then in the first two.

Gabe and Josh are now a solid couple. They continue to grow. Josh continues to try to get past his earlier insecurities. I loved that they expanded their dinner group for Easter to bring in others who really needed to be with them. I'm intrigued by the new character, Emery, and can't wait to see how things play out with him. They mystery was interesting and I like the conclusion. I have to say that Gabe really gets Josh. Loved the ending.

Satisfying conclusions, intriguing new puzzles

This book continues the high quality writing and storytelling of the first two books in the series. Walker has an engaging writing style that brings her characters and situations to life. Once again we get more familiar with Josh and Gabe. New secondary characters are introduced that are interesting and bring hope for more in depth info in future books. The existing secondary characters get even more fleshed out so that we become even more invested in them. I am so glad I was introduced to this author and this series. Highly recommend.

No cliff hanger in this one!

Unlike book two, this one nicely wraps up the mystery which has been running since the start of the series into the death of Nate, the nightclub owner Gabe once hooked up with.

I'm guessing there will be a full explanation of the whys in the next book but I'm assuming it's all going to come down to greed and money.

I'm also hoping book four will conclude the remaining romances hanging around the secondary characters as I really want to know if Meredith and Chaz get their happy endings with Harley and Kyle respectively and also what's going on with Emory and Jonathan.

I love the style of these books, the mystery is always kept light, even when dealing with horrible murders, and the humour which runs through the narrative helps to enforce that feeling.

Josh and Gabe are definitely making a bid to be in my list of top MM pairings.

Still really cute and sweet. I was surprised to see myself quite invested in the mystery (I shouldn't have been that surprised since this basically started from the first book), but the conclusion was a bit meh. One of my major gripes in this novel was the unrealistic and cheesy dialogue.

The mystery that started in book two finally has it conclusion, and the romance between Josh and Gabe keeps heating up. I am completely in love with Josh and Gabe – they are amazing characters and their antics keep me coming back for more. My favorite parts of this book are the ones with Josh and Gabe bantering with each other and their friends. I wish I could give this book a higher rating, but the writing style is still a little choppy and rough and needs to be smoothed out more. Plus, there’s just a lot of significant details wrong when it comes to the police work. Normally that wouldn’t bother me, but I can tell the author did do research and inserted researched facts into the narrative (probably to build up credibility) but it’s done in a clumsy manner, and that only makes the wrong procedures stand out even more. Those wrong law enforcement procedures probably won’t stand out to anyone who hasn’t worked in the career field, but they keep bugging me. I’m going to continue reading this series because I adore Gabe and Josh, and I can definitely tell that the writing is getting better with each book.
