I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed it. I was not a huge Bourdain fan (and still am not), but I feel like I better understand his personality having listened to him discuss his history, his struggles with drugs and alcohol, and his life in the kitchen. Overall, a very unfiltered, realistic, and gruff biography that was an enjoyable and dark look into the world of the fast paced restaurant world.

Everything I hoped it would be. And more.

Really enjoyed the candid take on life in the kitchen - though as he mentions that world's not quite the same anymore. Added some appreciation to my eating out. Maybe would have appreciated more if I knew more about all the people and restaurants he name dropped.

The audiobook is narrated by him. This isn't perfectly written or organized, but the voice makes it phenomenal, and it's always interesting. Trigger warning for obvious reasons. Tony Bourdain was a bad ass.
